Smooth Waves is a tableware design project commissioned by Maison BUET. We were asked to design all the tableware for the renewal of Maison BUET. After 6 months of intense developments, more than 300 pieces were made with love by DM Porcelaine.
The concept of the project was to create an interaction between the user and his tableware. 3 families to serve hot chocolate, brunch and a degustation plate.
The waves are in counter form under every cup or bowl to let the user play with it. A lot of developments and prototypes were made to find the perfect slide and to give the possibility to combine every object.
